Spiritual Dialogues

The family of Being is on a spiritual journey:

The One, in love with the Many;

    yearning, conceiving, birthing, dreaming of partnership.

Two partners, ten thousand partners, six billion partners:

Consciousness unfolding, dancing together.

How do we dance together with grace and generativity?

  How do we use our shared, collective power for Life?

Dialogue - the art of creating meaning together, co-creating the world.

Comes from the ancient Greek, ‘logos,’ sometimes translated as ‘word,’ but not any old word. ‘Logos’ is language infused with creative intention, words that create new meaning. Words holding the wisdom, hopes and dreams of generations. And the Greek, ‘di-,’ two, reminds us that we need each other to create the world of our hearts; making meaning is a mutual practice. From the ancient wisdom, let us remember that ‘dialogue’ always transforms the participants. We know more, see more, expect more after dialogue. Dialogue, engaging together, is Life’s way of creating.

Spiritual - comes from the Latin for breath, pointing to the mystery of Life which sustains us, which cannot be measured, common to all. I use the word to mean that dimension where we know we are all connected, all part of something larger than our individual selves, yet which called forth, sustains and needs our individual selves.

In Spiritual Dialogues we come together as friends and strangers to explore the needs of our world, our inner needs, to listen, share, be transformed, create meaning, and serve something larger than ourselves. What the world needs now....
